Dell Streak Audio phone jack does not work
I just purchased the Dell Streak. When I plug the ear phones no audio comes out from the ear phones. Is this a setting or a problem with the hardware? The normal speaker keeps working even when the little icon on the top show the earphone are plug in. I can even mute the sound using the button on the earphone cable but the earphones don't have any audio.
I have also tried other earphones and the problem persists. I'm wondering if this is a defect.

So I called Dell support and they suggested I reboot the streak. I did, after I had backup my data. After the reboot everything appears to function as expected. The restore function worked really well too. It appears that I'm back to normal.

I meant restore everything back to factory defaults not a reboot.
