Dell Streak updates

My Streak is very unstable and often crashes so I was pleased to received a message on my Streak - 'A software update is available'. When I OK'd the message I got a link to update my device via the Internet browser. This link downloaded the file - streak_111_6267_00.pkg.

Anyone know what to do now? How do I install the update?

Incidentally, installing Advanced Task Manager helped to improve stability somewhat, Dell does not appear to offer any support yet for the Streak.
