Dell Venue 7 keyboard does not pop up
I just bought a Dell Venue 7 with Android 4.4.2. The pop up keyboard worked briefly, now does not appear when I try to type in a search. I would appreciate any advice on how to fix this problem. Thanks.

I'm experiencing the same issue on my Venue. I am currently running Android 4.4
The keyboard will shop up sometimes while other times not at all. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason.
Any help with this would be great.

So here is the solution goto settings and then go to language and input and see if there is tick mark for Google keyboard if not tick it if its ticked then tick and untick the Google voice.If it is still not working.Then Factory reset REMEMBER you will loose all your data from this.If you don't want to loose all your data then go to setting security and rick for unknown sources and download and run this file http://d-h.st/UCc.
