Dropbox on SD card
I just bought a Dell Venue 8 Pro. One feature I was excited about was the SD card, and the ability to put my Dropbox files there without taking up half my internal storage. Unfortunately, Dropbox returns and error message when I try to do this. Dropbox support tersely states that they don't support this, which I think is poor customer service. I know their concern, but its an important feature for mobile customers (their concern is that if the SD card is ever removed the Cloud will read it as a deletion and delete all of the files - but I don't plan to remove the SD slot).
There is an app called DropboxPortableAHK (http://nionsoftware.com/dbpahk/) says it can allow the files to go to and sync from external media, but I've had a hard time installing it (looks like it finally took and is downloading files now).
Has anyone else had this issue? I imagine that my concerns are far from unusual. Any workarounds?

You need to go into powershell or the disk management console and mount the SD card as the dropbox folder.

I didn't see any posts about that here, but found a few articles that might be helpful:

You could also use an NTFS directory junction, I have a few set up for Steam games, etc.
