Sim Card for Venue 8 pro
I do not know anything about sim cards, but since there is a sim card slot in the Windows Venue 8 pro, will I be able to order a sim card from dell at a later date and put it into the slot?

I don't think that's a slot. The broadband wireless will be in a future model. SIM cards don't come from the manufacturer, they come from the cell phone service supplier usually.
