Slow 3G on Dell Streak

I have updated Android 2.2 two months ago and I still find surfing on 3G is horrendously slow on Dell Streak.  Not as fast as iPad.  Dell Streak works well on wireless but why 3G surfing takes such a long time?  Has anyone brought this up to Google?   Does anyone has a solution to this problem?  Thanks.
