Status of Dell Venue Pro

After having forked out for Dell's "premium" mobile device, I am a bit flabbergasted by news that Dell is about to drop support for it. What I would like from the Dell team are answers to the following questions -

a. Will USB/Wi-fi tethering be enabled? Other manufacturers have successfully enabled it on their devices.

b.  Will the device receive future updates (e.g. Tango, Apollo )?

If they will end support on this device, updates won't definitely come in. Or is it that it doesn't necessarily encounter problems?

@MyDearCosmo - this is the reason why I've requested Dell to provide an official response to my questions. It is quite unprofessional for them to remain silent  and ignore their customers...

DELL - We *need* to know whether we've ended up with expensive shiny turkeys!
