Venue 11 Dock with USB gigabit ethernet dongle
Has anyone else tried to use a USB gigabit ethernet adapter for their Venue dock? The dock itself only has a 10/100 adapter and I bought a couple different USB3 dongles with 1 gig ethernet to use instead. The problem is, if I plug the adapter in normally, it doesn't detect. I have to unplug it and slowly wiggle it into the port to be detected. If I remove the tablet and insert it again, the dongle is no longer detected again. Other USB devices work fine (USB3 hub, Logitech Unifying adapter). It does this no matter which USB port I try on the dock. Bad controller on the dock? Any other ideas?

I've got one and it seems to work OK - I can disconnect and reconnect the tablet all day and it works fine. MY issue is that when the tablet sleeps, it powers off the USB ports and so the dongle disconnects from the network.

I've replaced my dock with the newer model they have with built in gigabit Ethernet. Works like a charm now.
