Venue 7 stuck on Dell Logo
Hi All,
in Dec/2013 I bought a Venue 7. All going well, until the last update a week ago (not sure to which version), but it introduced the multiuser option I didn't have before. Today, it won't start up (stays stuck on DELL logo).
Of course, I tried the droidboot recovery but it gives me a "no Command" and an awful scene with the Android fella not enjoying itself.
How can I get around this? Do I need to root it to getting it going again?
Only details available are:
IFWI VERSION: f9.6c
SERIAL_NUM: DellVenue7....
DROIDBOOT VERSION: 2.0
PRODUCT: TABLET7
Suggestions?

Called Dell today (finally).
The directions below fixed my problem:
1) Press and hold power button for 2 minutes (Didn't seem to have helped)
2) Press power button for 10 seconds or so to Shutdown tablet
3) Press Power button and volume up together.
4) New menu showed up: option used was to wipe delete data/factory restore
5) Once complete, option used was: Reboot system now.
It brought it back to factory default. After entering gmail/password, all started to be restored.
I hope the above will help other people too.
And I must add that Dell is back on my preferred vendor list. Wonderful support I got once on the phone with them.

You wouldn't have that phone number for Dell, would you? I have searched and tried emailing and I have not been successful. My venue 7 tablet does something similar to yours, only the Dell loading picture only lasts a few seconds and then disappears and I get a blank screen. Thanks if you can direct me in the right direction.

no menu showed.its not working on my dell venue7 tablet.
