Venue 8 Battery & Volume?
I have had the 8 for a couple weeks and love it, except for some major concerns. First and foremost is that after carefully monitoring usage, the battery is only good for about barely 5 hours of use. I was led to believe it should be at least 10 hours. Also, the volume is very loud on the lowest setting thru the speaker. Complete opposite is true when using the headphone jack, very low on the highest setting. Hope an update can remedy these issues.

I have two Venue 8 Androids since December also and I have noticed the same problems. My biggest issue is that the when you plug anything into the headphone jack you can't hear anything. I have been online trying to find a resolution for this and no luck. Dell insists that there is something wrong with ALL the apps on my tablet and I have told them they're really stupid if they believe that. I hope they fix it because I know it's a software glitch.
