My Laditude E-6500, Windows 10 OS, does not detect my phone.  The phone is a UMX U673C.  When I run troubleshooter it says the Broadband USH driver not installed and can not find the driver the install it.  Do I really need this driver?  If I do, where do I get it?  I really want my phone to connect to my laptop.  HELP

The 2008 Latitude E6500 laptop was never validated with Windows 10.

What is the reason for connecting the Unimax U671C to this laptop? What are you trying to achieve?

How is the Unimax U671C physically connected to the laptop?

According to their Manual step 3 =
"On your computer, the connected phone is recognized as a removable hard drive"

Because it is not, the Windows 10 operating system is not providing the correct driver to enable the phone as a removable hard drive. This could be because Windows 10 was never validated on this 2008 laptop.

I once hard this problem but it turns out that my USB cord was for charging only. So I had to change it by getting a new one. You can checkout a post I wrote about it on my blog www.techchairman.com/.../how-to-fix-windows-10-not-recognizing.html
