newbie needs help, slim keyboard not working with new Venue pro 11
Apologies if this has been answered before, but I am not very technical.
When I connect the tablet to the keyboard I get that nice little sound, as I do when I disconnect. However having tried it 20+times now I have only got the keyboard to work twice, for a minute a most.
I am new to windows 8 but I would have thought the keyboard should be recognised upon docking?

I am having the same issue as you are. It looks like there is a registry hack to help when the tablet wakes up to recognize the keyboard. I tried the hack and it hasn't really solved the issue.

Many others have had the same issue with the slim keyboard and the Venue 11 Pro 7130. I have the same model and had the same problem. I contacted support and they shipped me a new keyboard. I haven't seen a reoccurrence yet.
There was an issue where the magnets that are used to dock the tablet are too strong. The recently manufactured keyboards have weaker magnets which seems to solve this problem.
