SHA256 checksum on a downloadable file is incorrect

Hi everyone,

this hardly happens, but I came across a checksum mismatch on a file I wanted to download. The file I need is the V20 firmware for Unity and it can be found on Support for Dell EMC Unity Family |Dell EMC Unity All Flash | Drivers & Downloads | Dell UK. Usually the checksum is always correct, but this time no matter what I try: different browser, other computer, the checksum check keeps telling me i's incorrect. Has anyone else seen this issue? And more important: what can I do to fix it? 'm checking the SHA256 checksum by using powershell by the way. The command 'm using is:

Get-FileHash .\UNITY-Drive-Firmware-V20-GPG-2022-06-13.tgz.bin.gpg

Hi,

Thanks for your question about the checksum. Try the steps in this article. https://dell.to/3SN2S2H

I have the same issue with this file. I have used several computers, browsers, and networks and I get the same result. The hash does not match. When I attempt to upload this to the emc unity device it gives me an error about it being an invalid file.

Hi,

Thanks for letting us know, I have reported the issue to have it updated to a working checksum.
