Command to find unused tdevs in vmax2 & vmax3
Hi There
I was looking for the right command to list all the unused tdevs in vmax2 /3 which can be reclaimed
tdevs which are not part of any storage group .
i could find "symdev -sid list -tdev -noport -bound " in some posts. Is this the right one or is there anything else ??

if device is not part of a storage group it's also not part of a masking which means it's not mapped. So this command would display them
symdev list -sid 1234 -noport
there are legitimate use cases where devices are part of storage group but not part of a masking view, SRDF R2 for example. So you will need to look around your environment to determine what is considered reclaim-able and what is not.
