How remote srdf links used for managing the remote array?
Hello,
We have srdf setup configured and and when I run srmcfg list on the loal site storage system management console, I see 2 storage arrays, one as local which is actually connected to my management host and one which is not connected directly shown as remote storage system. I even can manage the remotely conected array.
Can some one explain how this stuff works? Any document would be helpful.

All the communications are passed to remote array thru your local array.

Please check both ACL & Symmetrix authorization to have more restrictions.

I got that point. But is there a way to provide access permissions? On whether the remote array can be completely manged/can set read only access.
