Lun is showing unallocated in windows2003
Hi ,
Recently we have migrated from DMX to Vmax, After Migrating data ,Volume is showing unallocated in windows2003 . Kindly assist.

Can you tell the steps involved in this migration task.
So that it will easier for providing solution. Not in detail, but high level steps.
Hope, you also tried re-scanning the devices in disk mgmt.

Published Luns from Vmax and check the visibility from windows server.
create partition and assigned the drive letter
Backup and restore the data to Vmax volume`
Then next day windows admin says the migrated lun is showing unallocated.
.
.

I dont really see a case this could happen unless some did a realocation of that particular lun from storage side or wiped from host side
