MSCS Windows server 2012 R2 on vSphere 5.5 using VMAX3

Hello everyone,

We are running a windows server 2012 R2 on vSphere 5.5 and using VMAX3 SAN storage.

Using VMWare NMP with Round Robin Policy.

MSCS cluster is installed fine but now failing over the disks to the peer node is failing with errors 'resource is busy' etc..

I have verified that 'SCSI3 Persistent Reserve' bit is set on the devices.

We are able to fix the issue by changing the NMP policy from roundrobin to fixed.

I am not sure though if MSCS is not supported with roundrobin policy?

Is anyone out there facing a similar issue?
