Thin Pool over subscription and FAST
Hi,I'm wondering if I can violate the oversubscription rule on thin pool. For example: I have a thin pool with 105% of subscription, this pool is included in a tier. After some movements, I can see free space on pool (some extends will be promoted/demoted). Could I create other thin devices on this pool, utilizing the new free space available? The sum of all thin dev (the new one and the already fast migrated) exeeds 105%, but the free space is enough.Mario

Well you cant exceed you max subsciption (105% currently). So if you try to bind a tdev and pool is already hitting the subscription of 105% then the bind operation will fail. You can however increase the subscription % to some higher value (it requires a lot of monitoring as it could lead to pool full situation).
If you are far below your max sub limit then yes you can bind the tdevs.
