VMAX3 I/O Modules

My customer wants to know how he can tell which ports are copper vs Optical on a GigE SRDF I/O Module so he can tell the harware team where to run cables.  Is there a diagram and/or command available.  I can;t even find pictures of the I/O module.

Hi There,

Page 17

I believe you can replace the FE ports with FC or Ether (Slot 2,3,8 & 9)

If you are referring to the 4-port 1Gb/s ethernet cards with (2) copper and (2) fiber, the two lower numbered ports will be copper, the 2 higher numbered ports will be fiber. See attached.

Can all four ports be used, or is 2 ports either copper or optical?

All four can be used if they're all mapped to the RE emulation. (May require a BIN change.)
