ask you about SRDFCE in SRDF/A environment
Hi,
I would appreciate to have srdfce.log containing failover/failback activities in SRDF/A environment.
Another question is what is the difference between "failover -force" and "failover -immediate" parameters done on a DG when the DG is in SRDF/A consistent mode.
Thanks,
Regards,
Igor

From SRDF CLI guide:
-force Performs control operations on SRDF devices when SRDF devices are not in the expected state for the control
operation.
Using the -force option, the control operation will be attempted, regardless of the state of the SRDF
devices, if it is legal to do so according to the rules.
-immediate Applies only to SRDF/A-backed devices. Causes failover, split, and suspend logic to drop the RDF/A session
immediately.
With immediate, i think it does not wait for the cycle to complete before dropping srdf/a consistent session.
