EMC Infrastructure for Virtual Desktops
I'm looking for an updated document to the one provided (see below) by Virtual Geek (chad Sakac) from Friday's e-mail. I have reviewed the document he provided and have the configuration discussed (vSphere 4.0, XenDesktop and NS120). But I'm looking for a recommended configuration that involves EFD disk in place o fthe 450GB FC disks.
Can anyone point me in the rigth direction?

Hi,
I would suggest to use that white paper as a guideline and add flash drives as FAST Cache.
That way you can either keep the disk config and support more desktops on the same building blocks or use bigger/slower disks.
I would suggest to talk to your local EMC technical contacts about some performance comparion for View with and without FAST Cache which should be applicable to Xen as well.
There are also a white papers on Powerlink about using FAST Cache with Exchange or Oracle.
