600 GB drives are really 1 TB?

I'm looking at some disk output from an EMC VNXe 3300 (storagecheck_-a) and I'm really really confused.

A disk claims to be a 600 GB disk (red), but the size (green) is 1 TB. All the reference data for the TLA number say it's a 600 GB drive!

What am I missing?

I've got 8 of these! Four of the 8 are contributing vault pieces, the others aren't being used. 7 are at firmware ES0E, one at ES0F.

I think you'll find those values are in sectors (EMC disks are formatted with 520 byte sectors).

Yep, you're right. I was looking at so much stuff in kb I just didn't think about that. Works out just right for the 2GB as 1GB disks as well. Thank you!
