Change storage password for NS20

I have a NS20 attached to a Clariion CX3-40 storage array. The CX have a default password which I need to change, but if I do so, the NS20 losses LAN connectivity to the array. How can I change this password within the NS20 to administer the CX?

Thanks

I've read that once you change the Clariion password using that command it's neccesary to reboot the datamovers. Is this true? Is there any special thing to take care of before changing the storage password?

Thanks.

Greetings,

Changing the CLARiiON domain security password with the nas_storage command does not require the Data Mover blades to be rebooted.

There are some circumstances and some options of the nas_storage command that would need further action, but this scenario is not one of them.

Greetings,

You can use the nas_storagecommand from the Celerra Control Station command line.

Here is an example from the "Celerra Network Server Command Reference Manual"

To change the existing password on the CLARiiON system, type:

$

nas_storage -modify -security -username nasadmin -password nasadmin -newpassword abc
