Configuring 10 Gig adapters
I have a VNX 5300 with 4 x 10 gig ethernet adapters on it. I remember seeing a special document out there about the 10 gig adapters and them being active passive or something like that(or am I confusing this with the datadomain). Anyway, I really can't find anything that gives a best practice(lots of gig-e ones), for the 10 gig. I want to have the VNX connect to two Nexus 5020's. Has anyone else done this?
These will be used for a bunch of CIFS and NFS Shares.

Thanks, yes we are using vPC. Thanks, my next step was to go ahead and see what works or doesn't. I'm glad it's that easy. I'll give you the "Correct answer" when I get to work and do the config.

you must be confusing with Data Domain , older 10G NICs
there is nothing special with 10G interface, since you have Nexus and hopefully use vPC. Connect one connection to Nexus 1, second connection to Nexus 2 ..your network guys will setup port channels. On the Celerra side you will create a trunk device and assign ip address to it.
