D@RE Field Experience

What are the considerations before using D@RE? How does D@RE work in combination with RecoverPoint or VPLEX?  We are planning to replicate data to another VNX that does not use D@RE at this time.  Would that cause any issues or would we have to use D@RE on both arrays from the start?
