FAST Cache Module
Hi All,
We have VNX5500 storage and we installed two EFD drives for FAST Cache. As per EMC recommendation, we are planning to go for two more EFD drives. But, existing DAE's were fully populated (Total=120 Disks; DPE-15 and 7xDAE-105) and we don't have free disk bay to install additional drives. Instead of adding drives into FAST cache (after procurement of DAE), is there any EFD Modules can be installed on SP IO Module slots?
Note: in our NetApp FAS array, we have PCI-e card for FLASH Cache/ PAM-II

no such thing on VNX platform, need to have free drive slots.

I would suggest to start with the VNX Family and the FAST Cache white paper to familiarize yourself with the system architecture
