How to setup CAVA on VNXe system?

Question

I've VNXe3150 system and want to use the CAVA service.

I already have 2 CAVA-servers and 2 VNX systems are using these CAVA servers.

Now, the new VNXe system should also use these same CAVA-servers.

I already added a new Data Mover Management snap-in in MMC connecting to the VNXe and added the CAVA server IP-addresses in the addr poarameter.

However, I can't start the CAVA service neither via the MMC snap-in nor via the "Start Antivirus" button in the GUI of the VNXe on the page "Shared Folder Server Settings".

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello Nico,

Please check to ensure you have the same valid domain user added to the administrator group on the VNXe server and grant this user "EMC Virus Check" privilege.

Note: EMC CAVA service on the AV server should be running with the same domain account.
