Identify which disks used in a mixed pool for a Thin LUN
Hello Admins,
How do we identify which disks have been used in a Mixed pool when a Thin LUN is created. We have the FAST VP and FAST Cache enabled. I understand a chunk from the pool will be allocated for a LUN but how can we determine from which drive(s) this chunk is carved ?
Thanks

We can check it with the help of Sp Collects,
I don't think it is possible to check via Unisphere / CLI,, apart from Sp Collects.

There is no user way to determine where a particular slice of data is located in the pool. With Auto-tiering, slices are constantly being relocated between the tiers and within the tier (re-balancing). Engineering has some tools that can track the slices down, but they need to run a couple tools on the array to collect that data and if Auto-tiering runs after the collecting, some will have changed. The tools can resolve down to a LUN, but further than that is very difficult.
