Logging in to Unisphere for VNXe

Prerequisite:

Running Unisphere requires a current version of Microsoft® Internet Explorer® or Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Flash Player 9 or above.

Procedure:

When logging in to a VNXe session, the user name and password that you enter determine the VNXe options and tools that you can use based on the role assigned to the account. To log in to Unisphere:

1. From a web browser, open a URL to the VNXe management address. VNXe displays its login screen.

   
   

2. Enter a the a user name and password for an account that has advanced administrator privileges for the VNXe system.

   
   

The first time you log into Unisphere, you must use the factory default VNXe advanced administrator user name and password: 

User name: admin

Password:  Password123#

3. Click Login.

   
   

Note: If you are trying to log in using the VNXe default admin or service user accounts, and cannot remember the passwords for these accounts, you can set the passwords back to the default passwords that shipped with your VNXe system.
