Optimizing VNX LUN for misaligned VM
Hello,
We have few misalined VMs that are sitting on netapp and those LUNs are optimized for performance by a netapp tool called "Virtual Storage Console" and we are in the process of migrating them to VNX.
Is there a similar tool to optimize the LUNs on VNX?
Is there anything we need to do/check on the VNX for such LUNS for optimization non-disruptively?

Not on VNX ( i just checked pool and classic LUNs). There used to be an option on Clariion to play with LUN offset ..looks like it's gone on VNX. Why not fix the root of the problem, i remember seeing VM tools that could address incorrectly aligned partitions ?

Agree with Dynamox, the problem will have to be fixed, rather than have vsc mask it.
Uberalign is the tool I've used in the past, but requires downtime.
