Problem to add host ucs blade on vnx5300
Hello,
The zoning is done and is ok .
show zone active :
But on vnx 5300 the Initiators from UCS aren't not listing.
I try create the initiators but they are not "logged In" :
Any help appreciated

booting form SAN ? Zonned to correct VNX (sorry but have to ask

Yes the zonning is correct :
On the switch , I can see the link UP usc blade :
others ideas ?

Hi Dynamox,
Actually there is 35 initiators actually : 30 are "logged In" and 5 are "Not logged" .
What is the limit number of initiator ?

can you boot from a ubuntu live-cd and see if it logs-in.

Hi Dynamox,
I tried to reboot Hyper-V server ,it still does not show up as logged-in .
During installation of Hyper V , the server not detect any LUN.
if I delete manually added initiators, initiators are not listed.

256 per port ..so that's not it. Hmm. So after you manually register the host and then try to reboot Hyper-V physical ..it still does not show up as logged-in ?

and for good measure restart management server on each SP (http://SPA/setup)
