And to collect nar files you have to use Navisphere Analyzer. This is Clariion's equivalent of btp file.

Andy,
To collect performance files from Symmetrix you can use ECC Symmetrix agent or Solutions Enabler storstpd service. Btp/ttp files collect performance statistics about host/array. These files can be opened in Performance Manager to be analyzer for trends/issues.

I was wondering if there is a way that I could look at BTP files offline like you can do with the CX off array analyzer.
Thanks.

you can, open Performance Manager, select "Specific File" under Private Data and browse to btp/ttp file.

btp are binary files which has performance data for Symmetrix and nar is performance data for CLARiiONs.
We can also use ttps in both cases which is readable formats for both type of arrays.
Thanks

Hi, dynamox,all
tried this, but this method failing with big ttp files, permormance manager will result in software crash, read it on net that it should be opted out in OS but this not helping as well.
Question is:
is possible open big ttp file in size e.g. more than 30mb in perf.manager? if not, which method i should use
Thank you
