Should you change the default owner of the Pool LUN?

It is possible, but it will adversely affect the pool performance and is not recommended. This is because the internal structures such as  the Pool Private LUNs from the Private Raid groups are still owned by the original SP so the CMI between the SP gets flooded with IO.
