VNX FAST-VP
Hi,
I'm planning to implement a FAST-VP storage pool in my environment. We already purchased FAST Suite license and set of
EMC VNX 200GB SSD 25X2.5 DPE/DAE flash drives. I wonder if I could enable FAST-VP without purchase of FAST VP
optimized Flash drives and just use our ordinary EMC SSD drives?

Yes, it's possible. You can use your ordinary EMC SSD drives.

Use EMC drive support matrix to determine the type of drives you can or cannot use for FAST VP:

You can use the FAST Cache SSD's for both FAST VP and Cache, but remember that they are significantly more expensive than the FAST VP type. (eMLC v SLC).
