VNX Thin Provisioning
Quick question if anyone has a sec...
I've got a 5 TB filesystem, but only 1 TB is used.
If I enable Thin Provisioning, will it return 4 TB to the File Storage Pool?

nope, you will need to create a brand new "thin" file system and migrate data into it.
