VNX2 File - Quota management in CIFS/DFS configuration

I would like to discuss whether or not File Server Resource Manager Quota templates can be leveraged to manage quotas on VNX2 Data Movers in a pure AD/CIFS environment.

Getting mixed responses, so I would like to identify, if possible, an authorative source. I am seeking to determine if, when added as a leaf node within AD, VNX CIFS shares are manageable via FSRM and Quota templates. I suspect not as there are NTFS dependencies, but to be honest it has been a while since I have been managing a NAS file environment.

If they are not, I would like to discuss how AD management tools interact with explicit quota management for VNX Quota trees. I appreciate the assistance in identifying the appropriate resource!!!
