VNX5100: getting to send out email notifications for any warning or failure

Hello experts,

I am configuring a new VNX5100 storage system for a customer.

In addition to installing the ESRS IP Client for VNX and configuring ConnectHome, I would like to configure an email (SMTP) notification for any warning or failure within the VNX5100 storage system.

Based on my understanding, the proper steps to accomplish this task for Unisphere are:

- Go to "System" > "Monitoring and Alerts" > "Notifications for Block".

- In the "Notification Templates" tab, create a new Notification Template.

- In the new Notification Template windows, select the appropriate events and specify the SMTP Server, the email address to use for sending emails, the email address of notification recipient(s) and the notification email subject.

I have successfully generated and received the test email, however I am not sure if I have configured the new Notification Template correctly.

I would really appreciate if someone could kindly share his thoughts and help me validating the Notification Template I have created.
