VNXe Replication Network Configuration
Hi all,
I want to the configuration dividing the replication network and data network.
example)
eth2:192.168.10.xx/24(Data traffic)
eth3:192.168.20.xx/24(Replication traffic)
Which configuration is recommended ??
1.Creating a new shared folder server only replication purpose.
2.Adding a different interface to the shared folder server.
Please let me know if you have more detailed Document about the replication network of VNXe.
Best regards.

Hey,
I wrote wrong before. I want to say example A (Dividing the storage server) should be better.
You are right. Absolutely, example A is good in term of fault tolerance. So, if want to perform replication, we can create a special storage server for the replication.

Hey,
The following contents are for your reference. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply.
emc269693 is very helpful information.
Which configuration is EMC's Recommendation ?
Dividing the storage server(Example A) or Having multiple Address for single storage server(Example B).
Example A
=======================================================================
System1 System2
Shared Folder on SPA Shared Folder on SP A
IP1: 192.168.0.xx (replication interface) IP1: 192.168.0.xx (replication interface)
Shared Folder on SP A Shared Folder on SP A
IP1: 192.168.1.xx (Share folder access) IP1: 192.168.1.xx(Share folder access)
=======================================================================
Example B
=======================================================================
System1 System2
Shared Folder on SPA Shared Folder on SPA
IP1: 192.168.0.xx (replication interface) IP1: 192.168.0.xx (replication interface)
IP2: 192.168.1.xx (Share folder access) IP2: 192.168.1.xx (Share folder access)
=======================================================================
Will it no problem either configuration ?
Best regards.

Hey,
I think the example A (Dividing the storage server) should be better.
Please help to mark my answer as "correct/helpful answer" if you think they are helpful. Thanks.

Thank you for reply.
There is one more question at the end.
Please tell me the possible reasons Example B is better.
Are there any materials described is this part somewhere?
By using separate servers for data communication and replication,
I was thinking Example A is good in terms of fault tolerance and load balancing.
Thanks!!
