What is Unisphere Service Manager?

The Unisphere Service Manager (USM) is a collection of tools that help you update, install, and maintain your system hardware and software as well as provide contact and system information to your service provider. Each tool will guide you through the installation or maintenance task and, if required, provide context-sensitive help on how to perform a particular step.

To learn more about USM, please read the following document:

Unisphere Service Manager Requirements and Installation

To download USM use this link:

I just checked with one of my test accounts and I was able to access it.

Try getting to it from Search:

https://supportbeta.emc.com/search/search.htm#text=Unisphere Service Manager&product_id=-1&resource=DOWN&pg=1

It should be the first item in the list.

If you're still not having luck send me an email Jeffrey.candiello@emc.com and we'll take it from there.

Thanks,

Jeff

I was able to access without any issue. Glenn - it must be a Powerlink glitch

Wish all a great weekend,

Customer IBM Global Services (an EMC partner) intends to use the tool for reports for their customers. To ensure that they comply with all rules they are asking:

  • Is that tool available for free for a partner?
  • And can IBM use it for our end customer reports?

I assume that the answer to both questions is yes. Can you confirm?

Thanks

Peter

Yes and Yes - it's available on th Partner Web Site - if you have access, you can use. It's also a customer tool that is available to all customers at support.emc.com
