Where to enable Deduplication
I am trying to locate where I can turn on data deduplication. My VNXe 3200 is setup with 3 VMware Datastores. When I am at VNXe>Storage>VMware Datastores, I can see in the last column being Deduplication but it is "--" so I assume not enabled?
Anyway, when I click on Details, I cannot find any tab for Deduplication. The Datastore type is VMFS.
What am I missing here?

VNXe dedup is file level, so as far as VMware support, it will only be applicable to NFS datastores.

Can you check the license is installed.
settings >> more configuration >> manage license
