Which hard drive is faster SCSI or SATA?

I am completely confused.

Earlier i thought scsi would be faster give up-to 15k. But recently I go through one article i get to know about sata ii.

Could some one help me on this?

Correct – just because the drive interface is faster doesn’t mean the drive itself is

Besides I haven seen a drive with a SCSI interface in years

Hello,

You are mixing up bus speed and actual drive capabilities. You can have a 7,200 RPM with a sata connector and also a very fast ssd with sata connector. Same applies to scsi and sas bus.
