attaching celerra NX4 to mac server using Mac OS X 10.6
i want to have NX4 storage with APPLE xserver ?
is that an acceptable solution?
can i connect it with Fiber OR ISCSI OR through Ethernet?

Hi,
as of Today we qualified the Block Based Storage Systems Symmetrix (DMX3, DMX4) and Clariion CX3, CX4 , AX4 Systems together with Apples XSAN Server.
This Solution is for Apples XSAN Environment for Editing Solutions like Apple Final Cut Pro environments.
Using MAC OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) with NFS is a viable Solution but not officialy tested in EMC eLAB from what i have seen on the ESM Feb/2010 (EMC Support Matrix).
I encourage you to speak with your EMC Representative (Technical) to go in detail trough EMC Internal Specialists to speak about your intention.
