Guys, anybody knows where does this technology stand now? Can it replace today's storage and SAN environment? What do experts say about it? Is it certified with oracle environment? Does it really make difference in the performance even if it is over Ethernet? How about the backup that people used to take over SAN?

If anybody knows, please share your opinion? I want to know what EMC experts say about it. EMC procured scaleIO before, just wanted to know their opinion about hedvig.
