Disk array for vPlex support matrix

Hi

As we know, there have OEM partnership between Dell/EMC, Sun/HDS, IBM/NA (although Dell/EMC & Sun/HDS came to end last year). The support matrix don't have Dell OEM & IBM OEM disk array. I think there won't be any problem to support the Dell OEM / IBM OEM disk array since they are exacly the same from EMC/NA except the cosmetic different. Does any one have the experience? Do u face any problem?

While one would like to think there is no difference between the original array and the rebranded version, generally, that is not the case. The rebranded version will likely differ from the original array and therefore requires at least some testing of the sibling arrays. If it is not on the VPLEX ESSM, then it is not supported. The best way to get something supported is to submit an RPQ.
