Disconnection
What happens with datacenter if ViPR/CoprHD will be entirely crashed or disabled? How difficult to disconnect ViPR/CoprHD from production datacenter if I want to refuse from this system?
“The ViPR Controller does not sit in the data path for file and block stores. This ensures applications can access storage and all its underlying value and data services embedded in the storage arrays without performance degradation.”
Does it mean that if I turn off ViPR/CoprHD in my datacenter, it will continue to work, hosts will interact with stores, all communications and setting will be saved locally (on hosts, switches and storages) but I’ll just have to manage them separately and directly, without ViPR/CoprHD centralized console (portal)?
