How to update firmware Modular Switch Dell | Brocade 4424
Friends,
I Need to update a modular switch Dell | Brocade 4424 that is installed in a chassis M1000e.
I have doubts on how to upgrade the firmware, for example:
I need to make a backup of the switch settings before upgrading the firmware, correct?
I can update the firmware of the switches via the CMC? I read in the manual of the CMC that the firmware update procedure of the switches through the CMC is not the firmware of the switch itself, but yes the interface between the midplane and switch, right? To update the firmware of the switch, I need to logging on the respective switch and update the firmware through the command line?
Someone has some simple manual for this firmware update?
Thank you.

Is version 7.1.0 supported for 4424 and where can I find the download?

Download the DUP from the Dell.com/support/drivers.
On the OME–Modular web interface, go to Devices > Chassis and select the chassis for which you want to update the firmware.
Click Update Firmware.
