About:Blank - has anyone found a complete resolution?

I have the About:Blank virus.  I have spoken to the Microsoft Escalation team many times for many hours and a few times we were under the impression that the virus was gone.  Unfortunately, the virus always comes back.  I used to use Hijackthis, but it won't even work anymore.  I get an error message that tells me to email someone and the only way out is to End Task.  Microsoft won't return my phone calls anymore.

 

Has anyone found a complete resoultion to this virus or is wiping my hard drive the only option???
