BEWARE some FWs NOT working with Avast!7 under W 7

This merits a topic for itself.

Reports of Windows Firewall, Comodo FW, and Private Firewall not doing their job properly when running with Avast! 7 under Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit are being posted in Avast! and Comodo forum.

When making a rule to block access to the web for an app or a browser, it will have free connection to it.

Other FW like OA, Outpost, and PCTools are not affected. Still no mention of other FW yet.

Since Avast! Web Shield funtions like a proxy, something is missing or lost at the localhost conmunication between the FW and the Apps allowing full access to the web. This is grave. Check your firewall guys. Stopping Avast! Web Shield gives back total control to the FW.

This has been going on for a couple of weeks now, but global moderators, and devs from boths forum are taking this seriously.
