1) No need to be concerned. This is legitimate software that is not yet known to MS. 2) Yes- PC Doctor is part of Dell Support Center. 3) Many programs are not yet classified by Windows Defender.
To remove this alert:
- Open WD>Tools>Options, and scroll down to "Advanced options". - Next to the box under "Do not scan these files or locations" click on the [Add...] button and copy/paste the following into that box:
C:\Program Files\DellSupport Center\HWDiag\Bin\PCD5SRVC.PKMS - Click on the [Save] button, and close WD.
Others were just having this same problem. I uninstalled Dell Support Center because I did not need the information in there. If you are a new pc owner, it may benefit you to keep it.
