How to continue using my McAfee?

I just reboot my system and everything has gone. I bought McAfee for 3years but I just used it few days!! So how to continue using?

Hi Zhengdao,

I would like you to check if you find the McAfee product in the ‘Programs and features’.

If you do not find McAfee in the ‘Programs and features’ then it may have been accidentally uninstalled from the system.

You can follow the steps mentioned below to reinstall the McAfee product on your system.

1.          From the computer you want to install your software to, open a web browser and go to http://bit.ly/f8IGk5

2.          Log in using the email address and password you registered with.

3.          Click the (+) icon.

4.          Select the computer and click Download.

5.          Follow the on-screen instructions, and restart your computer when prompted.

If you find the McAfee in the ‘Programs and features’ but the application is not opening up. You can uninstall the McAfee product from the system and reinstall it.

You can download the MCPR tool from McAfee website which will completely remove the mcafee from the computer:

http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

When prompted, save it to a folder on your computer and run it which will completely remove mcafee product from the computer. You can reinstall the McAfee by following the above steps.

But what if I didn't registered before. I hardly ever open the McAfee program, and it didn't remind me to  register when I open it. Is there any activation code in the instructions that I didn't found?

If you didn't register your McAfee subscription, your best bet is probably to contact McAfee Customer Service. You can do this by Instant Chat, Email or Phone. The service is FREE of charge. http://service.mcafee.com/default.aspx
